Dolly Parton‘s music has been featured on Broadway and in the movies with 9 to 5: The Musical and now she’ll be able to share her music along with her story on TV.
A two-hour special on the life of the country legend named Coat of Many Colors is soon coming to NBC.
“This once-in-a-lifetime movie special takes us inside the tight-knit Parton family as they struggle to overcome devastating tragedy and discover the healing power of love, faith and a raggedy patchwork coat that helped make Dolly who she is today,” says a statement describing the project.
